The trade deficit of France stood at 5.75 billion euros in March, down from 6.37 billion to that observed in the previous month, said this morning Bercy.
While exports continued their upward trend, rising 1.3% to 35.2 billion euros, while imports are packed by 0.6% to 40.9 billion euros, due to reduced energy purchases and a fallout of chemical purchases.
The trade deficit in February was also revised down from an initial estimate of 6.6 billion.
